The officer was informed of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the roadway. Responders immediately rushed to the scene in an effort to assist.

Upon arrival, police and emergency crews found the pedestrian with severe injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police emphasized that cases involving suspected impaired driving require a careful and methodical approach. They noted that every detail collected will contribute to the final findings, which will be forwarded to the Fayette County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office for review.
