Hackensack, New Jersey – Police Investigating Fatal Shooting of 21-Year-Old Man at Park Lane Apartments
HACKENSACK, N.J. — A quiet Friday afternoon in Hackensack turned into the center of a major police investigation after a 21-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound inside an apartment. The incident occurred at the Park Lane Apartments on Union Street, directly across from Anderson Park, around 2 p.m. on August 15.
Authorities say officers were called to the scene after reports of a possible shooting. Upon arrival, they located the victim inside one of the units. Emergency responders attempted to render aid, but the man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity has not been released as investigators work to notify his family.
