East Cleveland authorities are investigating a tragic domestic-related shooting that claimed the lives of two family members and left two police officers injured during a violent late-night incident. Mayor Lateek Shabazz confirmed the victims as 22-year-old Erik Sharp and 82-year-old Charles Roscoe. According to police, the suspect, 24-year-old Aaron L. Sharp, is accused of fatally shooting his relatives during a heated domestic dispute late Thursday night. The incident quickly escalated when police responded to the scene, resulting in an exchange of gunfire.

Authorities say that officers were dispatched following reports of an active domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, they were met with gunfire from the suspect. Two East Cleveland police officers were struck by bullets and immediately transported to a local hospital. Both are expected to recover from their injuries, according to officials.
